In September 2018 a customer alleged Gary Boyt, while employed at Cambridge Investment Research, “financially exploited” them by making unlawful stock transfers, “entering into personal loans,” converting the customer’s funds, committing forgery, and engaging in other “unauthorized activities.” The customer is seeking $300,000 in damages in the pending complaint.
