In 2017 a customer alleged David Krumrey, while employed at Oppenheimer & Company, violated his fiduciary duty, was negligent in his duties, breached contract, and failed in his supervisory duties in connection to energy investments from 2009 until 2013. The customer is seeking $200,000 in damages in the pending complaint.
In 2017 he was discharged from Oppenheimer & Company in in connection to allegations he made an attempt to settle a client complaint away from his member firm.
