John Maccoll

Publicly available records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on April 2, 2018 indicate that Michigan-based UBS Financial Services broker/adviser John Maccoll (CRD# 839441) was terminated by UBS after “faling to cooperate into the firm’s investigation that he misappropriated money from a client.” According to documents received from FINRA, Mr. Maccoll also allegedly “informed the firm that he misappropriated funds from 13 clients.”

In 2008 a customer alleged John Maccoll, while employed at UBS Financial Services, failed to execute transaction as requested, resulting in damages. The complaint settled in 2009 for $2,500.

In 2008 a customer alleged John Maccoll, while employed at Morgan Stanley, misrepresented variable annuity purchases. The complaint settled in 2011 for $45,000.

In 1996 a customer alleged John Maccoll, while employed at Dean Witter Reynolds, committed fraud and breached his fiduciary duty. The complaint settled in 1997 for $49,000.

In 1990 a customer alleged John Maccoll, while employed at Morgan Stanley, executed unauthorized  trades, committed forgery, and made unsuitable recommendations. The complaint settled in 1991 for $70,000.
