Roric Griffith has spent seventeen years in the securities industry and has been registered with Princor Financial Services in Milwaukee, Wisconsin since 2005. Previous registrations include the O.N. Equity Sales Company in Cincinnati, Ohio (2005); Metlife Securities in New York, New York (1997-2005); and Lutheran Brotherhood Securities in Minneapolis, Minnesota (1997). Mr. Griffith is a broker and investment adviser registered in seventeen US states, including California, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, and New Jersey.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Roric Griffith is the subject of three customer disputes and two regulatory actions.

In 2013 Roric Griffith, while employed by Princor Financial Services, was sanctioned by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) following allegations he improperly exercised time and price discretion in the purchase of funds in a customer’s retirement account. The sanction additionally alleged Mr. Griffith made the unauthorized transaction of more than 7,000 shares of a debt fund for the customer’s account. The sanction is pending appeal.

In 2013 a customer alleged Roric Griffith, while employed by Princor Financial Services, misrepresented an investment in non-traded real estate investment trusts (REITs). The complaint has evolved into FINRA arbitration, which is pending.

In 2009 Roric Griffith, while employed by Princor Financial Services, was sanctioned by the State of Wisconsin following allegations of delinquency with state taxes. Mr. Griffith was ordered to pay outstanding taxes.

In 2009 a customer alleged Roric Griffith, while employed by Princor Financial Services, designed an investment strategy with “features of 401k that were not allowed” so as to take advantage of certain regulatory rules. The complaint settled in 2011 for $100,000.

In 2001 a customer alleged Roric Griffith, while employed by Metlife Securities, made false promises and acted with negligence and greed. The customer sought $9,000 in damages in the claim, which was denied.
